A Tiring Day…
Story #21 of Challenge…
Had a great time today walking briskly 1.5 miles, then hitting golf balls for an hour, then back. Did this with Ron and it was great fun. I think I did a little better than I did the first time a month ago.
But wow am I out of shape. Even though I am down about six pounds from the first time, that kind of full-body movement is great and tiring, especially for stretching out the shoulder. But wow was I exhausted when I got back because of the five hours of sleep, so spent three hours this evening catching up on sleep.
Finally made it for a short moment to my writing around 10, then did not get back to it until almost 2 am. Trying not to do that, but I did it again. Sigh…
The title I had started with earlier on was “Woman Who Looked Like She Was Thirsty” which is a Detective Crunch story. I like the new character. He has voice and attitude and is friends with two characters from two of my other series, Sky Tate and Marble Grant.
They guest-stared in this story and the writing went fast because of the character voice. Now going to go rest.
Here is a video of me heavier a month or so ago hitting a golf ball. I did better today.
