A Christmas Gift
A Free Lecture…
That’s right. From me, Kris, Allyson, and the entire crew of WMG Publishing Inc, a free lecture to help you get your writing set for the new year.
Normally I do all sorts of blogs here about getting ready for the year, but this year I figured the best way to try to help would be to give everyone who is interested a free lecture. I will do some blogs as well, so don’t worry about that. Can’t let that tradition go by. (grin)
The lecture is called CARVING TIME OUT FOR YOUR WRITING and I recorded it in 2013. It is still completely up to date on techniques and ways to help you find more time for your writing in the new year. Hope it helps those who are gearing up for even more writing in the new year.
The coupon is good for one month. Once you have the lecture on your dashboard at Teachable, it will be there for as long as you like to go back and study it. But you need to add the lecture to your dashboard by cashing in the coupon before January 22nd.
So here you go…
First go to http://wmg-publishing-workshops-and-lectures.teachable.com
And set up an account if you don’t have one. It’s free. (By clicking in the upper corner where is says search for courses, it brings up all the lectures and courses.)
Then find the Carving Time Out for Your Writing and hit “Purchase” or “Enroll in Course for $50.” which will take you to the next page.
On the next page, right under the first panel, is a link that says “Add Coupon” Or “Redeem Coupon.”
Then put the code in the coupon area and you should be in without charge. It will remain then on your dashboard for you to return to at any point.
Carving Time Out for Your Writing code is… Christmas-Gift
Any problems, or questions, feel free to write me. And remember, get the lecture on your dashboard by the 22nd of January.
Hope everyone has a good holiday season and a great new writing year.

Thank you for the gift.
On another note, I don’t know if Teachable allows you this function, but it might be interesting to track how many people redeem the code vs how many listen to the first lecture vs how many get through all of them. You’ve often referred to the time of great forgetting in the summer but this might show how early that actually begins.
Just a thought.
Thank you again.

Holy cow! Just finished watching the entire lecture. I needed this in a lot of ways. It seems that I have been subconsciously following some of these methods myself. Just hearing you saying what to do really drives it home. Definitely can’t wait to watch the next lecture I pick when I get around to it.
This is a gift that came at the right time. Thank you very much sir.

Aaaaaand this time it worked. I wonder if I had a space at the beginning of end that messed it up. When it didn’t work I thought maybe it was for only 1 day.
Fixed now and enrolled! Thank you, Dean. 🙂

This was one of the first lectures I purchased–think back in 2013. Seems like a writing lifetime ago because I’ve learned so much. And it turned out that I needed to see this again because I was at a point where I realized I needed to reset and hadn’t done it. My job changed on me so much that it threw what I was doing out of whack. So thanks for the reminder!
Danielle
Thank you for this, and Happy New Year!
