Workshop Curriculum 8/1/2022

Updating in Parts…

I have not updated the curriculum for all the workshops in a very long time. So I am going to do that here at the same time as I do it on the curriculum page. I figured that since there is a sale going on this week, this would be the time to do this.

Remember (last two posts), the sale runs through Sunday late and to get anything on Teachable at half price, including lifetime subscriptions, just hit purchase of the class you want and then use the code:

JulyRegularSale

Starting off with craft courses in the regular and classic workshops. I will follow in the next day or so with attitude classes, business classes, and so on. But craft first. And it will take a day or so because there are also a lot of craft courses in the Pop-Ups and other places. I’ll get those tomorrow.

The numbers are my suggestions on the order to take these workshops because many of them build on others.

All workshops and courses can be found on Teachable. Just hit “see all courses.”

Again, these are regular and classic workshops. Pop-Up Classes and other types of classes will follow on craft. Then I will follow with business focused classes later in the week.

These twenty-two workshops will jump you so far ahead in your writing skills, you won’t be able to see it, but your friends and readers will. Yes, I know, interesting that Teams workshop is the 5th most important, but trust me, it is a foundation course and important.

All workshops have six weeks of videos and five assignments and response video. About 45 videos per workshop.

Don’t worry about the Advanced Character title in the Dialog workshop. It was just a name that got stuck on it to help people understand it.

One way to take all these courses at a reduced price is to sign up for the lifetime subscription to workshops. All of these workshops, classic and regular are in the subscription. Everything is on Teachable. And at half price this week.

… Writing in Series (classic workshop)

No suggested order on these, but the order above would do.

Dean, I think the Writing With Emotions should have Depth Required also. It’s pretty hard to do the emotions if you don’t have depth in the first place (having taken both).

Dean, I have a birthday coming up, so a lifetime subscription is a possiblity. But according to teachable there appear to be four? I am confoozled.

Yes, one to all the workshops, which includes all the classics. One lifetime to all the Pop-Ups, which at the moment I am recording #80. One to all the study-along classes, which includes all the past ones to go through on your own. And one to all the lectures.

Pretty sure you would want the workshop one. After your grab it, I send you a letter on how it all works because it has upwards of 16,000 worth of classes in it, I think. Might be more.
